Torre del Lago Bed and Breakfast
Caffeletti is in Torre del Lago Puccini, a charming town in the province of Lucca, 8 km from Viareggio, 17 km from Pisa, 20 km from Lucca, 95 km from Florence.
From the seashore there is a huge 7 km long free beach that connects it to the city of Viareggio.
It is famous because of the composer Giacomo Puccini who built a villa on the banks of Massaciuccoli lake where he composed most of his operas. Today the villa has been made into a museum.
An operatic festival is dedicated to Puccini in the summer.
Torre del Lago is also an excellent base for excursions to all parts of Tuscany: from Lucca to Florence, from Pisa to Siena and San Gimignano, from the marble quarries to the thermal springs, but also the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Portofino in nearby Liguria.
